Day 1: Starting of a Journey towards some precious memories
All tourists will meet at the Delhi AirPort at 6.00 a.m. Everyone will be taken to Srinagarby Indian Airlines. We will reach Srinagar by 7:30 a.m. All the tourists will be directly taken to a House Boat in Dal Lake by a Jeep ride, and we will staynear Dal Lake and and in the House Boat that day and night. It is the time for you to enjoy the House Boat Life and the beauty of the dazzling river Dal. There is no doubt that, this occasion will refresh your mindas well as body from the exhaustion of a long journey and make you active for the next big days of out tour. The special lunch and dinner will be provided by a Native Kashmiri House near Dal. You will never forget the delicious Kashmiri food in your life.

Day 2: A walk through the hills and the lake side
Today we are going to explore some religious places and relax ourselves in a spiritual atmosphere. Starting our journey at 8.00 a.m. after a good Kashmiri Breakfast made inside the House Boat by you and our Kashmiri assistant, we will first go to Shankaracharya hill. Shankaracharya hill, also known as Takht-e-Suleiman means the Throne of Suleiman, offers a glorious sight to Srinagar and Dal Lake. It is the birth palce of Shankaracharya Temple which is believed to be built by Raja Gopadatya in 371 B.C. According to the cultural belief, the distinguished philosopher Shankaracharya lived there while he got revived, and thus the hill and the temple got renamed according to Him. The Mandir is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and is supposed to be the oldest Shrine in the whole Kashmir Valley. This temple has some architectural values along with its religious merit. The Temple is placed and supported by an Octagonal Platform, and there were some Persian inscriptions on the steps to enter the Temple, which is almost removed now. All the tourists can trek the 7 Km distance to Shankaracharya Temple from Dal Lake. After having lunch with the monks of the Temple, we will go to the Sheshnag LAke. This Greenish Blue Lake in the middle of the seven Mountain peaks is covered with ice for the whole winterseason. This spectacular view of this Sheshnag Mountain, which is named after it’s seven peaks, is mind blowing and there is a chance for all the tourists to take an ice bath in the lake. Sheshnag lake has stories of love, romance and revenge, which is inherited through the ages of Kings and Queens. After refreshing ourselves in the beauty of this Mountain and the icy lake, we will camp near the lake for the night, where we have arranged some Kashmiri Cultural Performances.

Day 3: A voyage through the Mughal gardens
Early at 7.30 am. we will start our travel to Nishat Bagh and Gulmarg. A jeep riding of two hours will take us to Nishat Bagh, the lovely Garden of Mughal emperor Nur Jahan designed by his brother Asaf Khan. Nishat Bagh is the largest and the most crowded of all the Mughal Gardens in India, with an area of 548 meters by 338 meters. The garden is made of 12 terraces which represents the 12 Zodiac Signs. With its flowerbeds, trees and fountains, it awakens the emotions out of us and makes us feel like a paradise. After having a Mughal breakfast from a nearby hotel there, we will go to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers by a jeep ride. We will reach there by 1.00pm. and have lunch from “The Valley Restaurent”. Gukmarg is a hill station located in the Baramulla district at an altitude of 2730 meters above the sea level. It is one of the best ski slopes in the world and also a best golf course of the world. The tourists can have an evening ice trekking or snowboarding on the ice slopes of Gulmarg. After having the trekking, you can relax by walking through the pine forests of Gulmarg and meanwhile if you are fortunate and if the weather is suitable, you can enjoy the beauty of Snow capped Nanga Parbat from there, which is the ninth highest mountain in the world. At 6.00pm. we will go to a tree house prepared for you, and you can enjoy the beauty of Gulmarg along with traditional Kashmiri food specially prepared for you.

Day 4: towards Ladakh
Early in the morning, at about 8.00 am. we will start our journey to Pahalgam, which is famous in the name “The Valley Of Shepherds”. It is a place 2400 meters above the sea level, and in the past it was used to be the preserve of nomadic shepherds. Still now its rugged charm remains untouched and it is the best example for an eco- tourism site. We are really careful to keep the place always the same without having any marks of the tourism left behind. This village is situated in the banks of the river Lidder, which is a good fishing point for even the first time fishers. Pahalgam serves best s a place for relaxation as it is always calm and quiet and the chilly wind is refreshing. During the summer, Pahalgam is rich with pine, deodar, juniper and fir trees. These plenty of trees makes the wind rich with oxygen and make us active. In Pahalgam, you will feel the comfort as if you are in the lap of nature. After having lunch from a kashmiri house, which we specially arranged for our tourists, we will move to Ladakh. Ladakh is the beauty of altitude, which is bounded by the two world’s biggest mountains: the Himalayas and the Karakoram. The people of Ladakh are a mixture of Muslims and Budhism. It is a land of rock carvings and ruins of large monuments. There is a chance for you to enjoy the Ladakh taste of food, which is very similar to Tibetan food. The most important Ladakh foods are thupka, the nuudle soup and tsampa, roasted barley flour. We will go to a traditional Ladakh hotel and enjoy the Ladekh food. After that you have time to have some shopping in Ladekh. The Ladekh clothes and handicrafts are unique and you would never see it anywhere else. For night stay we will go to Vinayak Dharamshala in Ladekh where you can settle for a night with some monks and the local people of Ladakh.

Day 5: A day in a palace
We will start our day at 7.00 am. and move to Sahnti Stupa which is a Buddhist Monument built by a Japanese Organisation inorder to honor the 2500 years of Buddhism. This Buddhist Monument was inaugurated by His Highness Dalai Lama in the year 1985. The tourists can enjoy the spectacular view of sunset and sunrise from the stupa, which is a white domed monument, illuminated at night. It is situated in the hill top of Changspa. The tourists can enjoy the beauty of whole Ladakh from inside the stupa. There is a tea shop on the top of the hill which serves snacks to the tourists. Then we will move to Shey Palace, which is not actually a palace now but the ruins of a palace. This palace is 550 years old and built by Palgygion, the King of Ladakh. There were ruins of an old library and murals of Lord Buddha in the palace. A large gold polished statue of Buddha holding a big bowl of wax which was used to light in special festivals, decorates the palce. Returning from the palace we will go to a Guest house in the valley of Ladakh and stay there for the night, where we have arranged some cultural program of Ladakh people.

Day 6: Headed to the mysterious cave
Today we are going to see a mysterious cave; the cave of Amarnath. The distance is a bit long and so we will be going by a train journey. The atmosphere of this sacred cave is rich with monk’s chanting, bhajans, and the flaming smell of puja by the priests invoking the blessings from Lord Shiva. There would be lot of legends and stories which welcomes you at the door of Amarnath cave. The cave is difficult to pass, but still it is a cricial pilgriamge for the Kashmiris. This cave and parts are about 5000 years old. According to Hindu mythology, it is inside this cave Shiva taught his principles of eternity and life to his divine consort Parvathy. The tourists can feel the spiritual feeling inside the cave and they can spend some time with the priests inside the cave. This cave was rediscovered by a Shepherd boy Gujjar Buta Malik. The way to the cave is extremely beautiful and it feels like travelling through the land of God. The people who are always residing near the cave supply food for the tourists as this place is so far to go to any hotels. The rest of the day will in the Ashrams of Amarnath, where you can practice a little bit of yoga and a small class of ayurvedic medicine which is still in practice among the traditional people of Kashmir. At night we will stay at a Buddhist Pilgrimage called Amarnathgi, which is three km away from the cave.

Day 7: Enjoying the Nature
Today, the last day of our trip, we will go for a special “Nature Trails and Wildlife Filming”. We are going for an adventure through the wild life of Zangla. We will start our journey at 7.00 a.m. and reach the forest of Zangla by 8.30a.m. Here you the chance to walk through the forest as you wish and you can film the beauty of forest and the animals with the help of the aid of our wild life specialists. They will assist you and guide you through the forest and explain you the significance of the flora and fauna. You will learn how to take pleasure in the beauty of forests and wild life without destroying it. The whole day you can enjoy the wid life beauty and adventure which will be an unforgettable experience to you. The breakfast and lunch will be provided from the three star hotels “Valley Star”. You will stay at Valley star hotel at that night.

Day 8: The day to pack back
This is the day to wrap up our luggage. At 8.30 a.m everybody will meet at the reception of the Hotel Valley Star, after the last Kashmiri breakfast, and we will take you to Srinagar by train. We will reach Srinagar 11.00 am and from there everyone will depart to delhi in the Indian Airlines of 12.00 pm.
